Hello, Friends of the Market:
The Downtown Casper Community Farmers Market (DCCFM) is in need of some help! The market starts soon, July 22nd and runs every Tuesday for 10 Tuesdays through September 23rd from 5-8 p.m. on the grounds of the NIC Art Museum.
- We need volunteers to help with our market info booth at the upcoming NIC Fest which is NEXT WEEK already ! (please contact us and let us know when you are available to help out).
- Also, we need volunteers to help decorate and/or walk alongside our truck/float for Tuesday, July 8th PARADE (please sign up by emailing us at cprdowntownfarmersmarket@gmail.com. Let us know your name & number and you'll be contacted to help with that project.
- We'll need volunteers for each market (4-6 volunteers per evening) to help make sure set-up & take-down by vendors goes smoothly and to assist as needed with parking and street crossings - please see the schedule page and let us know when you would like to volunteer and participate.
- Finally, we're starting to set-up funds for some basic expenses of the market (canvas bags, media coverage, signs, etc.). The market is working on establishing 501(3)(c) status - it is in the works. If can't physically volunteer for an event and/or you want to kick in a little seed money, please feel free to do so. Checks can be made out to: DCCFM and sent to PO Box 32 Casper, WY 82604. All funds will be deposited into the DCCFM bank account for expenses for the market only - Remember this is a non-profit community based organization - We can't do it without YOU! So, thank you in advance for helping us out and making these markets a reality and a success!
